The goal was to create a minimalist, distraction-free travel blog. Prioritising curation over density, keeping the focus entirely on storytelling.
Create Post
When creating a post I purposefully restricted the CMS options. Limiting image uploads and character counts forces selectivity in both photography and storytelling.
Plain language prompts serve as helpful cues to get started.
Hard limits on text and media ensure quality over quantity.

To create a smooth transition when viewing post details, I used a full-screen design that reinforces a consistent post format.
Clean, editorial typography that brings the story to life.
Thumbnail interaction triggers a a slide-in photo gallery.
Mobile Version
For mobile, I went for a fluid, scrollable format, built for single-handed navigation. The focus remained on simplicity of content.
